Beau Clark is Stassi Schroeder’s husband, a commercial casting director who gave up his career to be a stay-at-home dad, whose resentment over that trade-off, and the tattoo drama that grew out of it, became the emotional backbone of House of Stassi’s first season.
Clark is 46, born March 18, 1980, and stands 6’1″. He’s active on Instagram under the handle @thegoodthebadthebogie, tied to the podcast he and Stassi co-host, where he’s built a following of over 728,000. His real name is reportedly Silvio Bardetti, a detail that tracks with his Italian father’s side of the family and matches the surname of his sister, Georgia Bardetti, though he’s always gone by Beau publicly.
From Small Acting Roles to Behind the Camera
Beau’s path to reality TV wasn’t a straight line. He studied history at Davidson College before trying his hand at acting, picking up small credits starting with the 2001 short film “Speechless” and a role in “Dahmer” the following year, eventually racking up around fourteen acting credits total, mostly in low-budget and independent projects.
Somewhere along the way, he pivoted to the other side of the casting table, working in commercial casting and advertising at firms including Ricki Maslar Casting, Jeff Greenberg Casting, and most recently Sanford Casting.
Life With Stassi, Off Camera
Beau and Stassi were set up by mutual friends Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute in 2017. He joined her for the final two seasons of “Vanderpump Rules,” and the two exited the franchise together in 2020, after Stassi and Doute were let go following backlash over their treatment of former costar Faith Stowers years earlier.
Beau and Stassi married in Rome that September, a location that means something specific given his own background: he holds dual American-Italian citizenship through his birth father’s side and spent part of his childhood in Italy, heritage that shows up again in the name of his son, Messer, drawn from Italian Renaissance vocabulary.
The couple has two kids together, daughter Hartford Charlie Rose, born in January 2021, and son Messer Rhys, born in September 2023, and they’ve documented much of that side of their life on their own podcast, “The Good The Bad The Baby.”
The Tattoo Fight That Started on ‘Vanderpump Villa’
The tension at the center of “”House of Stassi” didn’t start there, it carried over from “Vanderpump Villa” season two, where Stassi first confronted Beau about a tattoo he got in honor of his sister, Georgia.
Her issue wasn’t with his closeness to his sister, which she’s since said she understands as part of his Italian family culture. It was that he had permanent ink dedicated to her and nothing for his own wife. She called it flat-out weird to have his sister’s name on his body and not hers, and the disagreement festered long enough to follow both of them onto their own show.
Beau Finally Gets the Tattoo, Then Everything Falls Apart
The tattoo reveal comes early in the finale, before anything else in the episode goes wrong. Beau surprises Stassi with her name tattooed on his arm, deliberately sized larger than the tribute to his sister that started the whole conflict, and by Stassi’s own account, it lands as a genuine, unscripted gesture. Ahead of the premiere, she called it one of her favorite moments from filming, saying Beau completely shocked her and that the emotion of it is something viewers can feel through the screen, adding simply, “God, I love that man.”
That moment doesn’t hold. The same episode moves straight into the friend-tervention at the Queen Mary, where the group turns the conversation toward the couple’s marriage, and this time Stassi’s friends Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly side with Beau rather than her.
She’s since described the moment dramatically, comparing herself to Julius Caesar watching Katie play Brutus, and saying that watching her friends fall for what she saw as Beau’s version of events left her feeling hopeless and devastated rather than defended.
Her self-described “Dark Passenger” alter ego comes out, and the season ends with her in tears on the floor, followed by a confessional where she makes it clear her friends won’t get away with turning on her.
So the tattoo isn’t really the resolution it looks like in the moment. It’s the calm right before the season’s actual gut-punch.
