The Season 2 finale of HBO Max’s “The Pitt” hits the big screen tomorrow before it streams anywhere else — and it is free for healthcare workers.
According to a media release from Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television have partnered with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to host advance screenings of the Season 2 finale on April 13 — three days before the episode premieres on HBO Max on April 16. The screenings are billed as healthcare appreciation events, with current and former healthcare workers encouraged to attend, though tickets are open to the public.
Admission is free, but seats can be reserved on the Alamo Drafthouse website with the purchase of a $10 food and beverage voucher. All attendees will receive special “The Pitt” giveaways.
Where to Go

The 10 participating Alamo Drafthouse locations are: Brooklyn, New York City; Seaport, Boston; Raleigh, North Carolina; Naples, Florida; Cedars, Dallas; Mueller, Austin; Westminster, Denver; Mountain View, San Francisco; Woodbury, Twin Cities; and downtown Los Angeles.
Tickets and reservations are available at drafthouse.com/event/free-victory-screening-the-pitt.
About the Show

“The Pitt” follows Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch and his team at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center across a single 15-hour shift, with each episode depicting one hour in real time. Season 2 is set on July 4 and follows a water park accident, an abandoned baby, and injuries sustained in the summer heat. The show has already been renewed for a third season, per Warner Bros. Discovery.
For those not attending a screening, the Season 2 finale streams Thursday, April 16 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max.
