Local 10 reports that “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein, 43, and her ex-boyfriend Jody Glidden, 52, are each facing one count of interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications in Miami-Dade County, according to court documents filed on March 19.
The documents allege that between March 12 and March 31, 2023, Lisa and Glidden “unlawfully and intentionally” intercepted oral statements made by her ex-husband, Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein, and others he spoke with.
The Arrest
Jody was arrested on April 11, and as of Monday, he was no longer appearing in the Miami-Dade prison database, though it remains unclear whether he was released or bailed out. According to The Sun, an arrest warrant has also been issued for Lisa, though there are no arrest records for her as of this writing. The Miami-Dade State’s Attorney’s Office confirmed the warrant is currently under seal.
This Has Been Coming for a While
This is not the first time a listening device has come up in Lisa and Lenny’s contentious split. As fans may remember, in May 2023, Page Six reported that Lenny accused Lisa in legal documents of placing “at least one” listening device on his vehicle in order to “access and monitor his private, non-public communications involving this litigation,” which Lisa denied at the time. The criminal charges now filed cover the same window — March 2023 — when those allegations first emerged.
The context matters. Lenny officially filed for divorce from Lisa in May 2023 after 12 years of marriage. After a two-year legal battle, the divorce was finalized in 2024. Extra reported that, as part of the settlement, Lenny was ordered to pay $15,000 per month in child support for their two children, Logan and Ellie. That amount drops to $10,000 per month once Logan turns 18.
The divorce was widely described as one of the messiest in Bravo history, playing out across multiple seasons of “RHOM” and spawning accusations of abuse, stalking injunctions, and defamation lawsuits, all of which were eventually settled or dismissed.
Who is Jody Glidden?
Jody Glidden is a Canadian businessman and Harvard-educated entrepreneur. He and Lisa began dating in late 2022 and first went public in early 2023. He appeared on “RHOM” during Season 6 and 7 while they were together. The relationship ended in early January 2026, after three years. Reports at the time pointed to disagreement over marriage. During Season 7, Lisa told Jody on camera: “If I don’t have a ring eventually, then there’s no future.”
The Response
Defense counsel for both parties released a joint statement to Reality Blurb: “This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court.”
Lisa’s lawyer is Jayne Weintraub. She is notably the same attorney who represented her in 2023 when Lenny and his then-fiancee sought a stalking injunction against Lisa. The case was dismissed after a full trial.
“The Real Housewives of Miami” streams on Peacock.
