‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Chase McWhorter Was Making Out at Coachella — and His Kiss History Is Getting Out of Hand

Coachella might be known for music, but year after year, it doubles as one of the biggest stages for unexpected celebrity pairings. This weekend was no exception.

Chase McWhorter and influencer Hallie Batchelder met for the first time in person on Friday, April 10, at Coachella Weekend 1, after DMing back and forth beforehand. According to a People source, things escalated quickly. “It started off as flirty, good vibes, and then the flirtiness took over. Saturday was their first kiss. They kissed at the end of Bieber’s set. They were making out on Sunday, too.”

Both posted about each other after the weekend. Batchelder shared a snap of them sitting arm-in-arm on her Instagram Stories on April 12, and McWhorter followed up with a selfie of Hallie kissing his cheek. Chase also reacted to People’s report with a joke on his Instagram Stories, captioning the headline: “Omg i also heard this !!” His rep confirmed the kiss to People regardless.

According to Elite Daily, the flirty comments kept coming after the festival. Batchelder wrote “Do you miss me yet” on his Instagram, while McWhorter responded “Ily” under hers. A source told People that Chase “seems happy” and “is definitely smitten,” adding that a trip to New York may be in the cards.

Hallie Has Her Own DadTok History

This is not Batchelder’s first crossover with the DadTok universe. The influencer and Extra Dirty podcast host hooked up with Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex Dakota Mortensen off-camera while filming Unwell’s “Winter Games” in February, admitting during the series that they made out when the cameras were not rolling — while also making clear in a confessional that she was not interested in him.

She told McWhorter about the Mortensen hookup during their Coachella weekend together. According to People’s source, it did not bother him at all, and he appreciated her honesty.

Chase’s Kiss Count Is Growing

Chase’s romantic life has been anything but quiet since his split from “SLOMW” star Miranda Hope. Before Hallie, Chase kissed cast member Jessi Draper at a party shortly after it was revealed Draper was going through a divorce. Draper later sent Miranda flowers as an apology. Chase addressed the moment on Harry Jowsey’s podcast “Boyfriend Material,” saying: “I learned my lesson on that. It wasn’t cool to Miranda. Obviously, got in trouble there. She deserves a lot better.”

According to Reality Tea, Chase was also previously linked to cast member Layla Taylor, who later moved on to his brother, and was part of the original “soft swinging” scandal alongside MomTok founder Taylor Frankie Paul — the moment that cracked open the entire Mormon influencer community and set the stage for the show’s existence.

The Show’s Future

During his April 7 appearance on “Boyfriend Material,” McWhorter said it was “up in the air” whether cameras would roll again for the Hulu series. “Hoping they do,” he said. “All the other women have a bunch of great stories and storylines that haven’t been told.”

At this rate, Chase has enough storylines of his own to fill a season.

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” streams on Hulu.
