Easter weekend looked a little different for the “Flip Off” extended family. Heather Rae El Moussa shared a series of photos this week from a desert getaway, captioned “Easter in the desert 2026 🐰🌸🥚,” featuring herself and Christina Haack posing poolside against a backdrop of desert mountains alongside Tarek El Moussa and Haack’s boyfriend Christopher Larocca.
Haack wore a vibrant yellow triangle bikini paired with a matching mesh sarong and tan cowboy hat. Heather Rae went with a textured pastel pink bandeau bikini with a gold ring detail and coordinating wrap. The group photo included about a dozen family members total.
The Kids
The extended family shot featured the children who tie the group together: Taylor, 15, and Brayden, 10, whom Christina and Tarek share, alongside Christina’s youngest son Hudson, 6, and Tarek and Heather’s son Tristan, 3. Four kids, two couples, one ex-husband — and by all appearances, a genuinely relaxed weekend.
The Fan Reaction
The comments section delivered. One follower wrote: “LLOOVVEE how you’re all blended and HAPPY. That is FAMILY.” Another suggested the group should “write about coparenting and cofamilying” because of how well they “flow together.”
The consensus in the comments was less “how is this possible” and more “please teach a class.”
Heather Got Candid on TikTok
The Easter photos were not the only thing Heather posted this week. She also went on TikTok to reflect on her seven-year relationship with Tarek, admitting they are not “perfect” and have faced real challenges. “Tarek and I are not perfect. We have had our fair share of challenges like every marriage does,” she told followers. “I think that when you’re with someone for a long time, everyone goes through things. You bring different traumas into your relationship.”
Despite those harder seasons, Heather credited Tarek’s consistent effort as the foundation of their marriage, noting he still sends her flowers on “random Tuesdays” just to tell her she’s an amazing mother. She also warned followers: if a partner isn’t working hard to be “romantic and loving” from the beginning, the relationship is likely to struggle over time.
What They’re Working On
The blended family dynamic extends well beyond holidays. Christina, Tarek, and Heather are currently filming “The Flip Off” Season 2, which is slated to air later this year on HGTV. Christina’s boyfriend Christopher Larocca — who was present at the Easter getaway — is strongly expected to be her partner this season, though HGTV has not officially confirmed the Season 2 casting.
