Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke Reunite — But Not How Fans Expected

Nobody had “Lindsay unblocks Carl for an Uber Eats ad” on their “Summer House” bingo card. And yet, here we are.

The former couple — once friends, then fiancés, then enemies — teamed up for an Uber Eats campaign posted April 4, poking fun at their own messy history in the most chaotic week the “Summer House” cast has seen in years.

What Happens in the Ad

In the video, Carl blows his nose into a tissue as Lindsay leans over to console him. She offers another tissue and asks, “Is this soft enough for you?” — a direct callback to Carl accusing Lindsay of not being “soft enough” during their relationship.

Also making an appearance: Wesley Stripes, the beloved zebra statue that became a recurring prop throughout the show’s run. Truly, no detail was left on the table.

Lindsay had Carl blocked on social media ever since their split. Back in February 2025, Carl confirmed to Us Weekly that he was blocked across all platforms, saying he had “taken that as understood.” The Uber Eats collab marks the first time the two have collaborated on anything since calling off their engagement at the end of Summer 2023.

Lindsay’s official caption set the tone immediately: “Can confirm, Carl is a MESS #uberpartner.” Then, in a separate comment that racked up nearly 39,000 likes, she added, “I unblocked him for this.”

The Comment Section Delivered

The reactions came fast and loud. Kate Chastain from “Below Deck” wrote, “Do they give Emmys for ‘best Reality TV show post scandal response in a limited online format’ yet?”

Their fellow castmate, Jesse Solomon, dropped in with “Oh. My. God. THISSS is what it took for you guys to hang out again.”

Kyle Cooke, in the middle of his own very messy week, commented, “All of a sudden, all is right with the world,” with a prayer hands emoji.

Gabby Prescod kept it simple: “The world is healing.”

Scheana Shay called it “THIS IS SO GOOD.”

And Katie Kearney, cutting right to the heart of it, simply wrote “The Zebra” with a zebra emoji, because Wesley Stripes deserves acknowledgment.

The Timing is Everything

According to Just Jared, Uber Eats has been a “Summer House” sponsor for years, regularly featured as the housemates unpack for the weekend. Leaning into that relationship for a reunion moment, in the middle of the biggest off-screen scandal the show has ever produced, is either brilliant brand strategy or the most chaotic coincidence in Bravo history. Possibly both.

The timing lands just as Carl and Lindsay have been showing small signs of warming toward each other on Season 10. In a recent episode, Lindsay invited Carl to her housewarming party, and he showed up, not just with a gift for her, but one for her daughter Gemma as well.

Nobody is calling it a full reconciliation. But considering where these two started earlier this year, a shared tissue joke and an unlock is honestly a lot.

“Summer House” season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams on Peacock.
