Scheana Shay is at Coachella, and she brought her whole crew, including “Vanderpump Rules” castmate Ally Lewber. Posted Saturday from Indio, California, Scheana’s seven-image carousel captures the pair hugging, laughing, and doing exactly what Coachella is for. Husband Brock Davies also made the trip.

The History
It wasn’t always this easy between them. When Scheana married Brock in 2022, Ally — then newly dating James Kennedy — was initially invited to the reception only, not the ceremony itself. The reason was not personal: Scheana’s close friendship with Raquel Leviss put her in an uncomfortable position, given that Ally had stepped into James’s life in the wake of his split from Raquel. The wedding invite situation played out publicly enough that fans noticed, and Scheana did ultimately extend a full invitation to Ally before the day arrived.
The Scandoval era reshuffled a lot of “Vanderpump Rules” friendships permanently. Scheana and Ally landing at Coachella together, captioning each other’s inside jokes, is the cleaner ending to that particular storyline.
When It Really Mattered
According to Reality Tea, the friendship was tested most seriously in December 2024, when James Kennedy was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Scheana broke her public silence carefully, saying she had been “respecting Ally’s privacy as she requested” and did not want to add to headlines while Ally was “going through enough.” She confirmed she had spoken to Ally and checked in with her often.
After Ally split from James in January 2025, she credited Scheana directly with helping her process a phone call she received from Lisa Vanderpump — one Ally felt had been used to pressure her to take James back. “I called Scheana after, and she was like, ‘No, you were just manipulated, and also that was really wrong of her to do,’” Ally said. “And I was like, ‘OK, yeah, you’re right.’”
That is not a casual friendship. That is someone showing up when it counts.
