Hannah and Marciano Are Vanderpump Villa’s Most Complicated Relationship — and Season 3 Finally Shows You Why

Hannah Fouch and Marciano Brunette dated for three years before ever appearing on camera together. Their relationship ended after Marciano’s infidelity. They arrived at Château Rosabelle in Season 1 freshly broken up, both admitting they still had feelings for each other.

Season 2 ended with both of them getting fired mid-season after a confrontation with a guest escalated. “We know when each other is hurting,” Marciano told Us Weekly after Season 2. “We both could see in our faces that we were genuinely upset about being sent home and we were hurt. We came together to try and get over that together.”

Season 3 brings them back to England — still not together, still not over it. And for the first time, viewers get the full picture of why.

The Secret That Explains Everything

Towards the end of Season 3, Hannah confided in Dom DeAngelis something she had never shared on camera — or to anyone — before: she and Marciano had a miscarriage together. It is the detail that reframes every season that came before it — the intensity, the inability to fully walk away, the way they orbit each other even when they are actively hurting one another. They are not just exes carrying old feelings. They are two people who share a grief most of the house will never fully understand.

Marciano’s confessional said it plainly: “No one will ever understand the bond between me and Hannah.”

The Most Vulnerable Version of Both of Them

Season 3 shows a Marciano the show has not fully revealed before. When the DadTok crossover loomed — Jordan Ngatikaura arriving at the estate he helped blow up — Marciano leaned on Hannah.

When Hannah was being ganged up on in the hot tub by Gabriella Sanon and Sher Suarez, Marciano stepped in.

Chef Anthony Bar confronted Sam Terry and told him he should not be laughing while Hannah was getting piled on. Dom also came to her defense. On a boys’ day out, Marciano addressed it directly: if what they do affects you all this much, you need to get a life.

Hannah, for her part, was emotionally fragile in a way the show’s “Horny Hannah” framing almost obscured. She kissed Sam. She kissed bartender Charlie Tiedemann, guest Josh Martinez, and she kissed Nick King in front of Alyssa Johnston. She kissed a guest from Bachelor Nation. Marciano watched all of it. His confessional reaction: “I’m sick of this horny Hannah trying to make out with everyone right in front of me.” But he never stopped showing up for her.

While most of the cast seemed fed up with the Marciano-Hannah drama, there were a few who seemed to see their bond for what it is. In an intense moment, as someone who very rarely gets involved in the drama, Chef Anthony Bar and Dom DeAngelis were among the few who stepped in. Chef told Sam Terry he should not be laughing while Hannah was getting piled on by Gabriella and Sher. Dom also addressed it directly on a boys’ outing: if what they do affects you all this much, you need to get a life.

‘I’m Not in Love With You. I’m Not.’

Oh Hannah, I don’t know what it is about Marciano, mind you, he just went through it with Dadtok. #fyp #explore #foryoupage #vanderpumpvilla

The tension came to a head in Episode 2 when Hannah screamed at Marciano through tears: “I’m not in love with you. I’m not.” His response was quiet: “Why didn’t you tell me that then?”

Stassi Schroeder tried to broker a sit-down between them to see if they could actually be together. She told Marciano directly: “If you really loved her, you would have made it happen and didn’t, so step aside.” Hannah’s confessional after told the whole story: she was glad Stassi had her back, but she still had feelings for Marciano. Kissing other people just made her miss him more. Her trust is just not there yet.

Towards the latter half of the season, after the Hagen Bach fallout — which ended with Hannah switching rooms entirely — she moved in with Dom and Marciano. The two were seen cuddling in bed. Dom later told Lisa they had sex in the bathroom. Lisa was not pleased. But anyone watching closely could see it for what it was: two people who cannot find the exit and are not entirely sure they want to.

The Jax and Stassi Comparison

Stassi herself acknowledged the parallel during Season 2: “I’m having a little bit of PTSD with Hannah and Marciano’s relationship. Not joking.” Lisa agreed — she sees Stassi as the perfect person to reach Hannah because she has lived this exact dynamic. “I have been there. Exactly. In a toxic relationship. In a dynamic like that. It’s not worth it. Get out. Run.”

The comparison is apt, and Season 3 makes it more so. Like Stassi and Jax Taylor, there is something between Hannah and Marciano that looks like a bad idea from the outside and feels like something more complicated from the inside.

Where They Stand Now

After Season 1 filming, Marciano told Us Weekly: “After the show had settled, there was a honeymoon phase of us being in a great spot together. Then once that dust settled, ups and downs. We have a good relationship for the most part. We still do work together, so we’re pretty communicative.” The Season 1 reunion confirmed they had broken up again. Season 2 ended with them fired together and closer than ever. Season 3 ends with the question still open.

No post-Season 3 interviews have surfaced yet as of this writing, but the Season 3 trailer offered the most honest preview yet: a tearful Marciano claiming he would do anything for Hannah, followed by a montage of both of them in tears.

Three seasons, one miscarriage, countless almost-moments, and still no clean resolution. Whether that is a love story or a warning label probably depends on who you ask — and when.
