The Mr. New Jersey finance entrepreneur who hid a million dollars on Netflix and is now heading to a dating villa. He has never once been boring on camera.
Nick Pellecchia is the only cast member heading into ‘Perfect Match‘ Season 4 who just finished hiding a million dollars on a different Netflix show. That alone would be enough to make him one to watch. The rest of his biography makes it more interesting.

Who Is Nick Pellecchia?
Nick Pellecchia is a 27-year-old finance entrepreneur originally from Mendham, New Jersey, currently based in Miami, Florida. He attended the University of Miami, where he studied finance and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.776 GPA — while also participating in the Student Managed Investment Fund, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, the Business Ethics Club, intramural sports, and, somehow, a cooking club. He was recognized with the President’s Scholarship and multiple academic honor lists. The “Miami frat boy” persona he leans into on camera is real, and so is the academic record underneath it.
After graduation, he built a career across private equity, financial advisory, and account management before launching his own company. He is currently the founder and sales director of Fluid Funding LLC — a business focused on providing capital to small and mid-sized businesses that may not qualify for traditional bank funding. Before that, he worked as an event sales manager at Seafair Yachts in Miami. The trajectory from yachts to small business lending is a very specific kind of Miami career arc and it suits him completely.
He is also, as of February 2026, competing for Mr. USA as the current titleholder of Mr. New Jersey. He has been encouraging friends, family, and supporters to vote for him throughout the competition. He is close with his father Bud Pellecchia over a shared love of the New York Yankees, and contributes time to Morris Habitat for Humanity and the Relay for Life of Greater Heights. He is, in short, not just a gym selfie and a jawline.
The ‘Million Dollar Secret’ Chapter
Nick appeared on ‘Million Dollar Secret‘ Season 2 and became the season’s most consequential player almost immediately. In Episode 1, he was the person who connected Altie Holcomb‘s repeated use of “no cap” to the clue about the millionaire “keeping it real” — a two-data-point connection nobody else in the house made — and named him at the elimination dinner. Nine votes followed. The game’s first millionaire went home because Nick was paying attention.
From there, Nick became the millionaire himself in Episode 4 and held the money longer than anyone else this season. He used a double-barrel kill shot to eliminate Melissa Austin-Weeks and Kasey Coffey, survived a tied vote through two canceled ballots, and built a power alliance with Umeko Peterson that carried him through four episodes — right up until Umeko stole the money from him using her own secret beach ball agenda, protected him at the elimination dinner anyway, and then got caught herself when the clue pointed directly at her Navy intelligence analyst biography.
He enters “Perfect Match” fresh off that run — no longer the millionaire, but very much a known quantity in the Netflix reality universe.

The Miami Roommate Situation
One detail worth knowing: Nick currently lives in Miami with Jimmy Presnell — his “Perfect Match” Season 4 castmate and “Love Is Blind” Season 6 alum. Two people who are about to walk into the same dating villa are currently sharing an apartment. Whether that pre-existing friendship becomes an asset, a complication, or a source of excellent television in the villa is one of the more intriguing questions heading into the season.
What He Brings to ‘Perfect Match’
Nick Pellecchia told Netflix before “Million Dollar Secret” that he planned to use other people’s assumptions about him against them. He delivered on that promise across six episodes. Walking into “Perfect Match,” he carries the same energy — charming, sharper than he looks, and fully aware that both of those things are tools.
He is also, notably, the first cast member from “Million Dollar Secret” to appear on “Perfect Match” — making him the newest bridge between two corners of the Netflix reality universe. Whether the skills that made him a formidable millionaire translate into finding a genuine romantic connection is the question the show is designed to answer.
His roommate Jimmy is already in that villa. Umeko Peterson is not coming to save him this time. Nick Pellecchia is on his own.
