A million dollars, a pageant title, a dating villa, and a roommate who is also on the dating show. Nick Pellecchia has been busy.
Nick Pellecchia walked out of The Stag on April 29 with a million dollars and immediately kept moving. Here is everything he has been up to since winning “Million Dollar Secret” Season 2.
Nick Has Not Actually Seen the Money Yet
The first thing worth knowing: despite winning the grand cash prize, Nick had not yet seen the money at the time of his post-finale interviews. He plans to invest it back into himself and his entrepreneurial ventures rather than treat it as a windfall.
He told TVBrittanyF: “I just want to invest back in myself. I realized that I want to be entrepreneurial and build businesses a couple years back. I didn’t know it was going to lead me to reality TV. But for now, just build a personal brand. Invest back into that audience and go from there.”
He Is Still Running Fluid Funding
Before the show aired and after it wrapped, Nick’s professional life has stayed consistent. He is the founder and sales director of Fluid Funding LLC, a Miami-based company focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses access funding when traditional banks will not support them. The million dollars presumably helps. The plan to invest it back into his businesses and personal brand suggests he is treating the win as fuel rather than a finish line.
He Is Competing for Mister USA
Nick will compete in the Mister USA finals in Las Vegas on July 25, where the winner will advance to the Mister Universe competition. He is the current Mr. New Jersey titleholder, which explains a lot about the confidence he carried into The Stag and out of it. A Netflix million-dollar winner heading into a national pageant competition in the same summer is a very specific kind of momentum.
He Moved Into a New Apartment
Nick recently moved into a new apartment in Miami. His roommate is Jimmy Presnell — “Love Is Blind” Season 6 alum and confirmed “Perfect Match” Season 4 cast member. Two people who are about to walk into the same dating villa together are currently sharing an apartment, which is either completely normal or the most chaotic living situation in Netflix reality history depending on how the villa goes.
He Stayed Close With the Cast
Nick didn’t just win the show — he walked away with solid friendships. He has been spending time with Hunter Call, Kat Ellis, and Lauren Gierth since filming wrapped. He has also stayed in touch with Umeko Peterson, with the two reportedly planning to meet up again soon.
Given everything that happened between them on screen — the flirtation, the alliance, the beach ball theft she never told him about — whatever that meetup looks like should be interesting.
He Called ‘Perfect Match’ a ‘Totally Different World’
Nick is heading into “Perfect Match” Season 4 as the only cast member coming directly off a “Million Dollar Secret” win. In a virtual interview with Decider, he described it as a “totally different world” compared to “Million Dollar Secret” and said that while he would personally prefer a strategic show, he had an amazing time filming and appreciated how the crew supported him throughout.
He said he spent his time there exploring his connections — which is either exactly what a dating show requires or exactly what someone who just spent eight episodes lying to strangers would say.
The transition from hiding a million dollars to trying to find genuine romantic connection is, as he acknowledged, quite the switch. Whether the skills that made him a sharp reader of people at The Stag translate into finding something real in a dating villa is the question
“Perfect Match” Season 4 will answer starting May 13.
What Comes Next?
Nick Pellecchia is a millionaire, a pageant titleholder, a new apartment dweller, and a dating show cast member — all in the same spring. He said it himself at The Stag on the night he won: “I’ve been betting on myself my whole life. I’m gonna keep doing that til the wheels come off.”
The wheels are very much still on.
“Million Dollar Secret” Season 2 is streaming now on Netflix.
“Perfect Match” Season 4 premieres May 13.
