’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Season 3: Everything You Need to Know Before It Premieres

Updated May 28, 2026 to include updated coverage

90 Day: The Last Resort” is back for its third season, and this time the franchise is sending six couples to a castle in England to figure out if their marriages are worth saving. The premiere is June 1 on TLC, and based on the trailer alone, this season is going to be a lot.

Here is everything you need to know before it starts.

What Is ’90 Day: The Last Resort’?

“The Last Resort” is a spinoff of the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise that takes established couples who have hit real breaking points in their relationships and puts them through an intensive therapy experience in a dramatic setting. Unlike the main show, which follows couples navigating the K-1 visa process for the first time, “The Last Resort” is for couples who are already married and already in trouble.

The premise is simple and consistently effective: take people whose relationships have been played out publicly for years, put them somewhere beautiful and far from home, and ask them to actually deal with their issues under the guidance of relationship experts. Some couples come out stronger. Some do not come out together at all.

What Makes Season 3 Different

For Season 3, the six couples will spend three weeks immersed in the rolling hills and storybook charm of the English countryside just outside Bristol at the historic Thornbury Castle, a centuries-old estate once owned by King Henry VIII and his wife Anne Boleyn.

The setting is a significant upgrade from previous seasons, and the cast is one of the most recognizable the spinoff has assembled. There are no repeat couples this season, and the lineup goes deep into the franchise’s history — including one pair from the very first season of 90 Day Fiancé.

With suspicions of infidelity and cheating, communication breakdowns, sexual incompatibilities, and financial strains, the couples are ready to either repair their relationships or walk away for good.

The Six Couples

Paola & Russ Mayfield

Warner Bros. Discovery/TLC

The deepest cut of the entire cast. Russ and Paola appeared on the very first season of “90 Day Fiancé” and were last seen on “Happily Ever After.”

After nearly twelve years together, they have spent the past two years in emotional limbo, marked by strain, disconnection, and ongoing stress.

Paola’s professional wrestling career took off with a new opportunity in Las Vegas, where she did not want Russ to move with her and their son Axel. But Russ refused to be left behind, causing more stress than ever. Though Russ is determined to repair the relationship, Paola remains skeptical as they consider whether to start fresh or if they are too far gone

The trailer’s most shocking moment belongs to them — Paola reveals she went behind Russ’s back to speak with an attorney to see her options about getting divorced.

Jenny Slatten & Sumit Singh

Jenny Sumit
Warner Bros. Discovery/TLC

Jenny and Sumit have been together for 15 years, balancing deep love with ongoing challenges.

After seven years in India, Jenny has reached a breaking point amid rising tensions with Sumit’s increasingly involved parents. Though accepted by his family despite their significant age gap, their joint café venture failed and their cramped living situation has added further strain.

As issues of trust, control, and anger escalate, the couple finds their relationship under mounting pressure.

A Note on Jenny’s Health

Since filming wrapped, Jenny has publicly shared that she has been diagnosed with ALS — amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a progressive neurological disorder. She and Sumit announced the diagnosis in May 2026, noting that early signs appeared in late 2024 and the diagnosis was confirmed in December 2025. Jenny has said she does not want to be treated differently and that she hopes speaking publicly might connect her with treatment options or clinical trials that could help slow the progression.

Watching their “Last Resort” arc with that context makes their story — already one of the most emotional of the season — land differently. If you would like to read more about Jenny’s diagnosis, EGO has full coverage here.

Shekinah Garner & Sarper Güven

Warner Bros. Discovery/TLC

Sarper is settling into life in America and trying to make it as a stand-up comedian — with Shekinah’s support fading as his routine frequently targets their marriage at her expense.

Less than a year into the relationship, the couple has already been through repeated ups and downs. Shekinah feels increasingly unsupported and alone while Sarper feels misunderstood.

Unmet expectations and frequent arguments continue to strain their connection.

Kara Bass & Guillermo Rojer

Warner Bros. Discovery/TLC

Kara and Guillermo are currently living in separate homes just minutes apart as they try to determine whether their marriage and their family can be saved.

Years of built-up resentment, compounded by jealousy and suspicions of infidelity, have overshadowed the love they once shared.

After reconnecting at the Tell All, they acknowledged that their feelings remain — but they are unsure how to move forward.

Thais Ramone & Patrick Mendes

Warner Bros. Discovery/TLC

Thais Ramone and Patrick Mendes have had one of the franchise’s more consistently dramatic arcs — Patrick’s brother and Thais clashed memorably throughout their original season, and the couple has faced ongoing tension around family dynamics, trust, and major life decisions.

The past few years have been difficult for Patrick and Thais — marked by the birth of their daughter, a move to Las Vegas, a failed business, family tragedy, and health issues.

As Patrick works to recover financially and emotionally, tensions rise over spending, support, and communication. A growing lack of intimacy and Thais’s desire to travel to Brazil more frequently, sometimes without Patrick, has further strained the relationship.

With trust and respect issues escalating, the couple is struggling to stay connected.

Rebecca Parrott & Zied Hakimi

Warner Bros. Discovery/TLC

Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi have a significant age gap and a relationship that has always had people questioning whether it could last long term.

They have realized over the past few years that they have very little in common, with differences in culture, religion, and a 22-year age gap fueling ongoing conflict. Their relationship has fallen into a cycle of distance, cheating accusations, and reconciliation without resolution.

Hoping for a fresh start, they relocated to Tampa at Zied’s request — but the move has only worsened tensions. Now largely living separate lives under the same roof, their marriage is at a breaking point.

Last Resort: Between the Sheets

A companion after-show, “Last Resort: Between the Sheets,” will also premiere new episodes on Mondays following “90 Day: The Last Resort.”

The unfiltered hour-long after-show features cast members dishing behind-the-scenes commentary, never-before-seen footage, therapist interviews, and cast reactions to the most jaw-dropping moments of the week.
