‘Perfect Match’ Season 4’s Marissa George Is Married — and It’s Not to Demari

Of all the post-show revelations from “Perfect Match” Season 4, none landed quite like Marissa George’s. The woman who spent eight episodes as one half of the season’s dominant couple — winning challenges, controlling boardrooms, and having very long arguments about interrupting — got married in March 2026. Not to Demari Davis. To someone she dated over 13 years ago.

Who Marissa Was on the Show

Marissa arrived on night one as one of the ten original singles and matched with Demari Davis almost immediately. What followed was one of the most compelling arcs of the season — a genuinely strong connection tested by outside attractions, communication breakdowns, and the kind of friction that comes when two emotionally intelligent people cannot quite get out of their own way.

She and Demari won both compatibility challenges. They controlled every boardroom. They were the frontrunners by every measurable standard. They also had two separate two-hour arguments about interrupting, a kissing challenge that revealed Demari’s highest score went to Kayla Richart, a date with Weston Richey that Marissa privately admitted had some possibility to it, and a finale night that ended with her sitting on the edge of a bed saying “I’ll just leave tomorrow” while Demari sat next to her and said nothing.

She processed everything out loud, in real time, in front of the cameras — her rejection sensitivity dysphoria, her possessiveness, her fear of being liked for what she could give rather than who she was. It was some of the most vulnerable television the season produced.

She left the show matched with Demari.

What the Finale Revealed

Demari and Marissa left the villa matched. On the reunion couch, they spoke warmly about what they had built — Demari said he couldn’t say better things about her, Marissa said the hard nights brought them closer and helped them learn to communicate. They looked like a couple that had survived something difficult and come out the other side of it.

And then Tudum published its post-filming update, and the real twist landed.

Where Marissa Is Now

Marissa is currently married to someone who has been part of her life for a long time. The two dated over 13 years ago and rekindled their spark after the show wrapped. They tied the knot in March 2026 and are now planning to move to Japan together next month.

“Sometimes timing really is everything, and it feels like we finally found ours,” she told Tudum.

Watching the show back, Marissa says she barely recognizes parts of herself — because being with a partner who truly understands her has been healing. “I’m still growing when it comes to communication, emotional regulation, ADHD, and just navigating all the layers of who I am,” she said. “But I’m very self-aware, actively working on it, and lucky to have a man who gives me the space to grow while loving me through it all.”

That last sentence is worth sitting with for a moment. The arguments about interrupting, the RSD moments, the possessiveness she named openly on camera — she is not pretending those things do not exist. She is just, for the first time, with someone who gives her space to work through them rather than someone who gets frustrated by them.

The Bigger Picture

Demari told Marissa throughout the season that what he valued about her was the way she made him feel. Marissa said on the show that she had spent too many relationships being liked for what she could give rather than who she was — and that comment bothered her precisely because it fit that pattern.

She found her way to someone who flips that equation. Someone who has known her for over a decade, walked away, came back, and realized the timing was finally right.

The woman who said “I’ll just leave tomorrow” on the edge of a bed in a Mexican villa in November 2025 was married by March 2026. Sometimes the show is not where the story ends. Sometimes it is just where you figure out what you actually need.
