Are Jimmy Sotos and Alison Ogden Still Together After ‘Perfect Match’ Season 4?

Updated May 27, 2026 to include current coverage

Jimmy Sotos told Alison Ogden she felt like home when he chose her over Katherine LaPrell at the “Perfect Match” Season 4 matching ceremony. Based on what he posted this week, that feeling appears to have stuck around well past filming.

Here is everything we know.

What Happened Between Them on the Show

Jimmy arrived in Episode 2 as one of three new singles brought in from the boardroom, and he and Alison clicked almost immediately. She told the cameras he looked like her crush when she was 15. He matched with her at the end of Episode 2, and their dynamic settled into something easy and consistent from there — she was steady about him, he kept coming back to her, and the show never gave them the kind of dramatic arc it gave most of the other couples.

The real test came in Episode 4 when Katherine LaPrell arrived and she and Jimmy had undeniable chemistry from their first conversation. ADHD jokes, a water float date where he held her and told her she was beautiful and perfect, coming back holding her hand. Katherine read every sign correctly and believed she was going to be chosen.

Jimmy chose Alison anyway. He told her she balanced him out, that building something with her felt solid and complementary, and that she felt like home. It was one of the more quietly decisive moments of the season.

Katherine left blindsided. Alison said she trusted him. The preview heading into Episode 6 shows Katherine coming back with unfinished energy and the question of whether that trust holds is one of the bigger storylines still in play.

The Post That Has Fans Talking

Jimmy posted a carousel to a joint account with Alison — tagged in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca — captioned “Lil BTS of our first night together” with a smiley face and a pink heart. The first three slides are behind the scenes moments from their first night in the villa: dressed up, easy and relaxed together, exactly the kind of content that makes the show’s version of them feel real.

The last slide is different. It is Alison outside the villa entirely, holding a basketball, clearly taken outside of “Perfect Match.”

Jimmy commented on his own post: “last slide, best slide” with 267 likes. Alison replied with a winking emoji and a bear.

He posted three throwbacks from their first night and saved a clearly newer photo of her for the final slide. Make of that what you will.

What the Cast Said

The comments section filled up fast and the cast was fully present.

Demari Davis commented “last slide” with a string of dots and 84 likes — Jimmy replied that she said she will cook for him, and Demari shot back “1 on 1, 3 dribbles?? Good God.”

Nick Pellecchia dropped three red hearts. Natalie Cruz called them cutie patooties. Chris Dahlan commented “favsss.” Weston Richey left fire and heart emojis. Hashim Moore dropped four black hearts. Kayla Richart simply said “oop” with 42 likes.

The post has over 21,400 likes. The cast reactions aren’t reading like two people who ended badly.

The Oaxaca Question

The post is tagged in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Whether that means Jimmy and Alison are currently traveling together or simply that the location was tagged after the fact is not confirmed. It is worth noting. It is also worth not reading too much into — location tags on Instagram carousels do not always mean what they appear to mean.

What does mean something is a joint carousel of first night memories, a current photo of her as the last slide, and Jimmy calling it the best one.

UPDATE: The Comment That Says It All

Alison Ogden/Instagram

Two days after Jimmy’s carousel post, Alison posted a reel of her own — captioned simply “period” with the Perfect Match and Netflix hashtags. The video uses the voiceover trend “I’m just a simple girl with simple taste,” with Jimmy’s name as the text overlay on screen.

Jimmy commented one word: “Home.”

Alison replied: “sweet home.”

For anyone who watched Episode 5, that exchange is not just cute — it is a direct callback to the moment Jimmy told Alison she felt like home when he chose her over Katherine at the matching ceremony. He is using the same word, on her post, in public. She ran with it.

Kayla Richart left three heart eyes emojis. Nick Pellecchia liked it.

UPDATE: The Finale Drops Tonight — and They’re Still Posting BTS

Tonight is the “Perfect Match” Season 4 finale, and Jimmy and Alison are not waiting for viewers to watch it before celebrating.

Two hours ago, they posted a new carousel of BTS photos from their time in Mexico — captioned “more bts since the finale drops tonight ❤️ who do you think is the winner??” The photos show them together at the pool at night in coordinating red and white outfits, sitting together at a colorful bar, and in the most-discussed slide, Alison leaning into Jimmy’s arms at what appears to be a resort pool during the day — Jimmy with his hands around her, her in a pink skirt, both smiling. Jimmy commented on his own post with a meme of himself looking smug. The comments section exploded within two hours.

Natalie Cruz wrote “SO CUUUUTTTEEE” in all caps. Weston Richey dropped three black hearts. Kayla Richart commented “So cute!!!” with 30 likes. A fan wrote “if it ain’t yall imma crash out” with 233 likes. Another said “you guys are my winners.” Someone else wrote “imagine the kids tho” with 22 likes. Nick Pellecchia liked it.

The caption asking who viewers think wins is doing a lot of work — Alison is essentially telling the internet tonight is the night and inviting them to speculate, while posting photos that make the answer fairly obvious. Jimmy responding with a meme of himself looking confident is not exactly adding mystery.

The post is barely two hours old. The cast is showing up. The fans are showing up. And the finale drops tonight.

UPDATE: The Finale — And What Happened After

The “Perfect Match” Season 4 finale aired May 27, and Jimmy and Alison were not the ones holding the trophy at the end — Dave and Sophie won. But their story did not end with the credits.

According to both Jimmy and Alison in interviews with Netflix Tudum, they continued their relationship after filming, with Jimmy visiting her in Los Angeles, meeting her friends, and even celebrating Thanksgiving with her. Then things got complicated. They ended up pausing things for a bit with on-and-off communication because he had a difficult time adjusting back to real life post-filming — something Jimmy described as “post-villa depression.

They have since reconnected. They are currently exploring their connection without any pressure, labels, or expectations.

Alison told Tudum: “It’s not every day you meet someone who truly sees you and who you share so many values with. So once we connected, I knew he was the person I was supposed to meet on the show.”

Not the clean fairytale ending the “home / sweet home” Instagram exchange suggested. But not over either.

The Verdict

Nothing has been officially confirmed and no labels are being used. But Jimmy visited her in Los Angeles, met her friends, spent Thanksgiving with her, took a painful pause, and came back. He called her home on national television and kept calling her that after the cameras stopped.

Whatever they are calling it, they are still calling each other.

Perfect Match Season 4 is streaming now on Netflix.
