Matt Ryan & Alla Fedoruk From ’90 Day Fiancé’: Their Journey & Where They Are Now

Matt Ryan and Alla Fedoruk are not the couple most people remember when they think of “90 Day Fiancé” Season 4. Jorge and Anfisa were louder. Chantel and Pedro were messier. Nicole and Azan were more bewildering. Matt and Alla were the ones who just quietly worked — and a decade later, they are still going.

Many fans consider them one of the franchise’s greatest success stories. After ten years of marriage, three children, and a life built entirely on their own terms, it is hard to argue with that.

How They Met

Matt and Alla first met on an online dating service years before the show. They lost contact after Matt had his third marriage. After three years — and his third divorce — Matt reconnected with Alla, who had also gone through a divorce of her own.

Alla was from Ukraine and had a seven-year-old son named Max from her previous relationship. Matt was from Kentucky, twice divorced before this reconnection, and carrying a family history that gave Alla’s potential in-laws plenty of reasons to be skeptical. His family worried she was using him to get a better life in America for herself and her son. The show documented their doubts openly.

What it also documented — more quietly — was two people who had both been through enough to know what they actually wanted. Alla was not effusive with her feelings on camera. She was honest about her reservations, careful about her words, and steady in her choices. Matt was patient. The fourth time, for him, turned out to be the charm.

What Made Their Season Stand Out

The tension in Matt and Alla’s season was not explosive. It was the slow friction of two people from completely different worlds trying to figure out if they could actually build something together. Alla had come from city life in Ukraine — she found rural Kentucky isolating, the winters difficult, and Matt’s family dynamic hard to navigate. Matt had to reckon with his own history and whether he could be the partner Alla and Max needed.

What viewers remember most is Alla’s struggle to say the words. She loved Matt — that much was clear from how she showed up, how she stayed, how she committed to the life they were building. Getting it out in the right language in front of cameras was harder. When she finally did, it landed.

They married in March 2016 on a beach.

Building a Life Together

After the show, Matt gave in to Alla’s wishes and the family relocated from Kentucky to Cincinnati, Ohio. The move proved to be a better fit for the entire family.

Alla opened her own lash and brow studio, building a business alongside the life she was building with Matt. She also worked toward getting her private pilot license — a detail that says a great deal about who she became on the other side of immigrating to a new country and making it entirely her own.

They welcomed two children together — a daughter and a son — making them a blended family of five with Alla’s son Max. Matt’s bio describes his family with the specificity of a man who has counted every blessing: married to his precious love Alla, father of his amazing son Max, the most precious little girl Emma, and the cutest little boy in the universe, Marcus.

Where They Are Now

Matt and Alla celebrated their tenth anniversary in 2026 — and Alla marked it in the most Alla way possible. In January, she shared a wedding photo from their beach ceremony alongside other photos from 2016, with a caption that read:

“2016. The year one of my biggest dreams came true. The year my son and I moved to the United States to begin a new life in a new country, with the man who became the love of my life. It was a year of learning, discovering, growing, enjoying, traveling, loving, and truly living my dream. An unforgettable adventure, including a unique experience on the TV show 90 Day Fiancé. A year that will always live in my heart. 10 years later… I’m still married to the love of my life. We’ve added two more little souls to our family. Still learning, still growing, still finding our way — together. I wouldn’t trade this life or this journey for anything. Grateful forever.”

In February, the family went on a cruise to the Bahamas — video starting in the snow with Alla joking it was too cold outside, ending at the beach. In April, she posted a carousel for their daughter Emmalyn’s sixth birthday, writing that six years ago their world changed forever the moment she arrived.

Matt’s feed is quieter — about 20 posts total, not updated in the past year — but his bio says everything it needs to. Family photographs. A husband who calls his wife his precious love.

They are one of the franchise’s longest-running couples. The woman who struggled to say the words on camera has been saying them with her life ever since.

90 Day Fiancé and its many spinoffs are streaming now on Max. New episodes air on TLC.
