The Challenge Cast Came to ‘Vanderpump Villa’ and Almost Took the Ceiling Down

“The Challenge” group checked into Rosecroft Park with a pregnancy announcement, 300 beers, and absolutely no intention of behaving themselves.

Sam clocked it immediately: “These people drink like fish, dude. Like, we are almost out of beer right now, and we had 300 beers.” Within minutes, Devin Walker was cannonballing naked into the pool, and Derek Chavez had already fallen at the bar.

When the staff tried to wrangle them toward dinner, Derek was passed out.

Dinner service hadn’t even started yet. This group was a liability before the appetizers.

The Wave

When Lisa approached the welcome dinner table to greet her guests, Theo Campbell — mid-speech about how much he loves his pregnant girlfriend Olivia Kaiser — waved her off and asked if he could finish.

Lisa, in confessional: “Did he just do what I think he did? Did he just wave me off?”

She walked away from the table, composed, and said she would come back. Back in confessional: “Well, that’s a first for me.”

The nerve. The absolute unhinged nerve.

The Nightcap

Things did not improve. Body shots, a lap dance competition, a three-way kiss in the hot tub. Josh Martinez — the only single guest on the trip — spent the night bouncing between Hannah and Meredith, giving each of them equal attention and both of them exactly what they wanted to hear. He chose Meredith for the lap dance. Then made out with her. Then later basically told her to leave his room when she asked if he wanted her to stay. Her confessional the next morning: “We do not like Josh anymore.”

Then Devin — extremely drunk in the hot tub — decided that Charlie, a staff member having a completely normal conversation with his girlfriend Michelle Fitzgerald, needed to be dealt with. “What the f—k are you doing? Get the f—k away from me. You 6’7 little b—h. Get the f—k away from my girlfriend.”

Theo’s response from across the hot tub: “Charlie, slap the s— out of him. I’ll help you.”

Michelle told Devin he was being insane. Aneesa Ferreira told him he was going to ruin everything. Devin: “Ask me if I give a f—k.”

Michelle and Aneesa deserve hazard pay.

Charlie, later in confessional: “His insecurities are, you know, his problem.”

The Ceiling

Theo ran the bathtub, and then fell asleep. It ran all night long. The water poured through a ceiling that has been standing for over 200 years.

Lisa, surveying the damage: “This house has survived two world wars, the Blitz. But it can’t survive 24 hours of the Challenge group with a baby shower?”

Theo’s response in confessional: “It is what it is.”

He later claimed in a confessional that he and Olivia always run baths for white noise. Olivia, in her own confessional, confirmed they do not even have a bath in their home.

(So to recap: Theo destroyed a 200-year-old ceiling for white noise he didn’t even use. Incredible.)

Devin Tries to Apologize — Sort Of

Devin pulled Charlie aside the next morning to “bury the hatchet.” It did not go well. After Charlie calmly explained that he had done nothing wrong and that the power dynamic in their situation made it impossible for him to defend himself, Devin responded: “Well, you gotta fix your body language or something, bro.” Then: “I wanted to come into this and apologize, and I really don’t feel like I should now.”

Truly one of the worst apologies ever attempted by a human being.

Charlie walked away and went straight to Lisa. Charlie’s confessional: “This is some high-level gaslighting, and I really think I need to talk to Lisa.”

Lisa Has Had Enough

Charlie told Lisa what happened. Her response: “You know what, Charlie? Sometimes a guest isn’t always right.”

She then gathered the group. She went straight to Olivia — the person she considered an innocent party — asked how she was feeling, and Olivia immediately burst into tears. Lisa looked at the group and said: “You see? That says it all. This is what shouldn’t have happened. F—k the ceiling, f—k you’re rude to me. I’m worried about her.”

She then turned to the rest of them. “I might look like a p—y, but I’m not. I work with corporations. I live in a man’s world. And I’m going to kick your a— from here to breakfast time unless you tell me you’re going to shape up.”

Lisa’s confessional: “They might have faced many challenges before, but they haven’t pissed me off.”

Nobody does it like Lisa. Nobody.

The group shaped up. At least temporarily.
