Lisa Vanderpump handed out $95,000 in bonuses — and not everyone was happy about it
One of the defining stakes of every “Vanderpump Villa” season is the bonus — and Season 3 raised the bar higher than it has ever been. Lisa Vanderpump awarded five badges this year, each carrying a cash prize, with the largest single bonus in the show’s history going to one very deserving, very self-aware recipient.
Here is the full breakdown of every winner, what they won, and what their castmates had to say about it.
Badge of Consistency — Sam Terry — $10,000
The first badge went to Sam Terry, the returning bartender, for a work ethic Lisa described as “second to none.” She told him that without him, the summer season simply would not have run as smoothly. The badge of consistency carries a $10,000 bonus.
Sam said he couldn’t be more grateful for it. He had come into Season 3 hoping to explore things with Hannah Fouch, found out on arrival that she and Marciano Brunette had recently said “I love you” to each other, and redirected entirely, pouring himself into his work instead. It paid off in the most literal sense possible.
Badge of Dedication — Gabriella Sanon and Chef Anthony Bar — $15,000 Each
Two badges of dedication were awarded, each carrying a $15,000 bonus. Lisa described the badge as representing devotion, impeccable service, and leadership — and gave it to both the events coordinator and the executive chef.
Gabriella Sanon‘s response was characteristically Gabriella: “When you’re at the level that I’m at, you can’t always expect to be getting the recognition all the time. It’s rewarding to work so hard and have it pay off.” She also made a point of noting, in the same breath, that she would have preferred a reward entirely on her own — because she didn’t walk out of a staff meeting the way Chef had.
Chef Anthony Bar, for his part, said he felt great, talked about his upcoming proposal to his girlfriend, and said Dom DeAngelis deserved it more than Gabriella. A gracious moment all around.
Chef had also spent portions of the season quietly clashing with Lisa over her perception of Gabriella — feeling she was being protected because of her Season 2 bonus win, and saying so in confessionals more than once. Getting the same badge as Gabriella rather than a higher one was not lost on him.
Badge of Congeniality — Charlie Tiedemann — $20,000
The badge of congeniality went to Charlie Tiedemann, the new bartender who came in and immediately became one of the season’s most beloved figures. Lisa described it as the feel-good badge, awarded for bringing life and essence to the events, making guests feel absolutely welcome, and showing up with the kind of good nature and playful character that made the whole summer better.
The bonus attached: $20,000.
Charlie’s reaction was pure and immediate: “20,000? Holy shit. I worked really, really hard this summer.” He said the recognition meant a lot to him and that he could really use the money. He was not wrong about either thing. Earlier in the season, “Made in Chelsea” guest Ollie had asked him for the gossip about him and Hannah before he had barely finished pouring the sparkling water. Charlie handled it gracefully. That is the badge of congeniality in action.
Badge of Excellence — Hagen Bach — $50,000 + Return Invitation
The biggest badge, the biggest bonus, and the most reaction from the rest of the cast. Lisa awarded Hagen Bach the badge of excellence and the largest bonus she had ever awarded to anyone. The $50,000 came with a guaranteed position at “Vanderpump Villa” next summer.
“This person exceeded all of my wildest expectations,” Lisa said, “and has actually made me incredibly proud.”
Hagen’s response was, predictably, perfect: “My name next to $50,000? It’s giving rich. Like, I feel proud. Lisa thought I was excellent, so I’ll take that money, deposit it into my account, and merrily go on my way.” He also gave a shoutout to Lewis Herring for leaving, acknowledging that stepping into the butler role after Lewis’s start-of-season departure had been part of what shaped his season.
Hannah’s confessional was equally memorable, though for different reasons: “Like, Hagen? What did he do? Like, he gets the $50,000 for just walking people to their rooms. I should have earned a bonus. Me walking that huge estate, it’s a lot. I was doing a lot of cardio.”
Marciano was more direct: “I’m upset because I know I worked my ass off, and I thought I deserved a bonus. The badge of excellence is not Hagen. I’m sorry, but what else am I going to say?”
What About Everyone Else?
Lisa, once again, invited everyone to look under their plates. Every staff member received an extra bonus, though it was not disclosed how much. The five named badges and their recipients were the ones Lisa chose to spotlight in the finale, but no one walked away completely empty-handed.
