Who Is Tyler Winston on ‘Vanderpump Villa’ Season 3? The Season 3 Cast Member You Might Be Overlooking

The former Division 1 wide receiver turned model who came in with big goals and complicated feelings

Tyler Winston was one of the more quietly compelling new additions to “Vanderpump Villa” Season 3 — not because he was at the center of the season’s biggest drama, but because he brought a specific kind of energy to Rosecroft Park that made him worth paying attention to. Here’s everything you need to know about him.

Who Is Tyler Winston?

Tyler Winston joined the Season 3 cast as one of the events coordinators, working alongside returning events coordinator Gabriella Sanon to plan and execute the high-end experiences Lisa Vanderpump’s reality TV guests expected. He came in as one of roughly ten new staff members navigating the largest cast in the show’s history.

Houston-raised and openly family-oriented, Tyler came into Rosecroft Park with a background that goes well beyond hospitality. According to Disney+, He played wide receiver for the University at Albany Great Danes — a Division 1 program — appearing in ten games on special teams in 2019 and four games in 2018.

Before that, he was a standout at Archbishop Stepinac High School, catching 39 passes for 562 yards and seven touchdowns his senior year, earning All-State Honorable Mention and Team Most Improved Player.

The 200 push-ups a night he mentioned in his confessional intro tracks completely.

Modeling & Acting

Before “Vanderpump Villa,” Tyler had been building a career in front of the camera in a different capacity. He is a commercial model and actor represented by Zebedee Talent in New York and Los Angeles and BMG Models in Chicago, and has appeared in projects including the TV series “King of Los Angeles” in 2023. He also runs a separate fitness-focused Instagram account alongside his main page — again, the 200 push-ups thing is not a bit.

His Instagram bio reads “Different, but Relatable,” which is either a personal philosophy or a very good modeling tagline, possibly both.

What He Was Like on the Show

Tyler came into Rosecroft with genuine warmth and what seemed like solid intentions. He connected with Sage Smith quickly, calling their romance spontaneous and meaningful, nearly saying the word “love” in a confessional before catching himself. He was present, he was attentive, and for a few episodes he was one of the season’s more grounded romantic storylines.

And then he overreacted to Sage talking to a guest.

When Bachelor Nation guest Xavier mentioned to Sage that he had heard she was seeing someone, and Sean didn’t seem convinced she was taken, Sage confirmed she was exclusive with someone and went to tell Tyler about it because she thought it was funny.

Tyler took it as a clear sign of disrespect, ignored her when she tried to talk to him, and refused to make eye contact. Sage went to her room upset, told Meredith she didn’t think this was worth continuing, and said in confessional that it was “giving toxic.”

To his credit, Tyler did come around. He apologized, said he genuinely cared about her and was worried he’d messed it up for good, and they eventually made up.

Where He Fit in the Season

Tyler wasn’t at the center of the season’s biggest fights — that territory belonged firmly to Hannah Fouch, Marciano Brunette, and Hagen Bach. But he was a consistent presence on the events team, working alongside Gabriella Sanon in a dynamic the show didn’t spend a huge amount of time on, and navigating a romantic storyline that mirrored the season’s larger themes in miniature. Trust issues, overreaction, the cost of not knowing how to handle your own feelings in a high-pressure environment — it was all there, just with less screaming.

He came in wanting to make everyone proud. Whether Rosecroft delivered on that is something the reunion on April 30 may or may not address. Watch the trailer here.
