She won $100,000 with DeMari Davis on “Too Hot to Handle” — and now they’re both heading to the “Perfect Match” villa.
Brianna Balram is not new to Netflix reality TV. She is not new to winning Netflix reality TV. And she is definitely not new to the complicated territory of trying to make a relationship work on camera.
Here’s everything you need to know about her before “Perfect Match” Season 4 premieres.
Who Is Brianna Balram?
Brianna — known on her platforms as Bri — is a Brooklyn-born model, content creator, and influencer currently based in Atlanta. She is of Puerto Rican, Indian, Trinidadian, Costa Rican, Jamaican, and Belizean heritage, which she wears proudly across her social media.
She graduated from the University of West Georgia before moving into modeling and entertainment, and has since built a following of over 233,000 on Instagram and 314,000 on TikTok, where she describes herself as being there “for the laughs.”
She is managed by Brandom Management and has been featured in outlets including People, Cosmopolitan UK, US Weekly, and Elite Daily.
The ‘Too Hot to Handle’ Chapter
Bri first appeared on “Too Hot to Handle” Season 6, which premiered on Netflix in July 2024 and was filmed at Triton Villa in the Turks and Caicos Islands. She entered the villa and immediately sparked a connection with DeMari Davis — and for the most part, despite the show’s notoriously tempting environment, they managed to keep it together enough to win.
Bri and DeMari were chosen as the season’s winners, taking home $100,000 of the $125,000 prize fund. It was a victory and a genuine connection, which made what came next that much more complicated. After the show, they broke up.
The ‘Battle Camp’ Chapter
After “Too Hot to Handle,” Bri didn’t stay away from cameras for long. She joined the cast of “Battle Camp” Season 1 on Netflix — a competition pitting 18 Netflix reality stars against each other in physical challenges for a $250,000 prize, hosted by former NFL star Taylor Lewan.
Bri entered in Episode 3, formed a connection with returning “Too Hot to Handle” cast member Louis Russell, and fought hard through every challenge before being eliminated in Episode 5 in the season’s first double elimination. She captioned her casting announcement: “Battle scars? Maybe. Regrets? Never.”
The “Battle Camp” appearance confirmed something important about Bri: she is not someone who walks away from a competition quietly.
The ‘Perfect Match’ Twist
Here is the part that makes Season 4 interesting from Bri’s perspective. DeMari Davis — “her Too Hot to Handle” co-winner and ex — is also on the “Perfect Match” Season 4 cast. They won $100,000 together, built a relationship on camera, and then broke up in the real world. Now they are walking into the same villa again with a new group of singles and a show specifically designed to test compatibility and stir up history.
Whether they end up in each other’s orbit, actively avoid each other, or use the other’s presence as motivation to find something better is the central question of Bri’s season — and the producers know it.
Why She’s One to Watch
Bri has already won one Netflix reality competition. She has done physical elimination challenges on “Battle Camp.” She has navigated a public breakup with someone she is now sharing a villa with. She is funny, self-aware, and has a platform built on being genuinely entertaining rather than just aspirational. Walking into “Perfect Match” Season 4 she is one of the most experienced players in the house — and arguably the one with the most complicated pre-existing dynamic to manage.
“Perfect Match” Season 4 premieres May 13 on Netflix.
