Christina Haack is in her supportive girlfriend era, and she wants everyone to know it. The HGTV star posted a glowing tribute to boyfriend Christopher Larocca on Instagram following the sale of his company, Network Connex, to private equity firm Olympus Partners.
“For the past 18 months I’ve had a front row seat to the Private Equity world watching my guy do what he does so well,” she wrote alongside a photo of the two of them dressed in black tie. “I want to give a HUGE congratulations to Chris and his entire team. Chris — you are the ultimate CEO. I am so proud of you and the man you are.”
She continued: “You have old school class with a charm that is unmatched. You work your ass off and never complain. You are smart, charismatic, charming and kind… and somehow have no ego. You put others first and always look at the big picture. You are my vision board goal and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you.”
Chris responded in the comments: “Thank you sweetie. It’s so great having you in my corner. I love you for all your support and patience.” The post pulled 35.2K likes and 959 comments.
Heather Rae El Moussa also showed up in the comments with a simple “yay” — which, given the blended family situation these four have managed to pull off, feels meaningful.
Who Is Chris Larocca?
According to TV Insider, Haack and Larocca reportedly dated for several months before making their romance Instagram official in February 2025. The designer later revealed their romance first started in fall 2024, news of their relationship coming six months after her separation from Josh Hall following nearly three years of marriage.
In honor of their first anniversary last October, Haack reflected on how they met: “Our first photo together, over a year ago. Thank you Chris for always dating me and spoiling me and showing me true respect. It’s been a year of learning and growing and communicating and defending and sometimes fighting but always making up. Thank you, thank you, thank you for walking into my life in that random Mexican restaurant in Newport.”
Speaking to E! News earlier this year, Haack praised Larocca as someone who understands the demands of her life in a way previous partners have not. “He’s very easy to be around. He’s a very secure man, and he’s kind to everyone. It’s security and kindness that just makes him a great partner, and he gets along very well with everybody in the blended family.” On marriage, she kept it simple: “We’re not in any rush, and it’s a one day at a time thing, which is nice.”
The Flip Off Connection
Larocca is confirmed to appear in “The Flip Off” Season 2 alongside Haack, going up against Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae El Moussa once again. Season 2 is currently filming and set to premiere later in 2026, according to People. Larocca had a brief cameo in the Season 1 finale but stayed deliberately in the background. That era appears to be over.
