The “Giggly Squad” has entered the chat, and they are not being subtle about it.
On the April 3 episode of their podcast, former Summer House stars Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner made their position on the Amanda Batula and West Wilson situation crystal clear. They are in Ciara Miller‘s corner, full stop.
“Obviously, we’re live. We see the internet, we know what’s going on,” DeSorbo said on the episode. “Ciara is our real friend, in real life. So we have been talking to her, consoling her. We are behind her a hundred percent. We would never capitalize or monetize off of our friend’s heartbreak.”
Berner added a personal note for Miller directly. “We love you, Ciara, as the one and only guest that’s ever been on ‘Giggly Squad,’” she said.
The Friendship Survived Production Trying to Kill It
What makes Paige and Hannah’s loyalty hit different is the context behind it. Deadline reported that when Ciara first joined “Summer House” Season 5, Berner revealed that producers had every intention of creating conflict between the two women. They shared a love interest and were quietly encouraged to “beef.”
“The second I met her, I looked her in the eye, and we were like, ‘I love you. You love cats. I f*** with you,’” Hannah said, per E! News. “And she’s had my back since the day I met her. And I feel the same towards her.”
That is the friendship Amanda and West are up against now.
Paige’s Final Word
DeSorbo made it clear she was not going to keep feeding the social media cycle at Ciara’s expense. “This is the final thing I’m gonna say about it,” she said. “Ciara is a strong, capable woman. She will speak her truth when it is her time. I would never speak for her.”
She also used the moment to explain why she and Hannah left reality TV in the first place. “There are very concrete reasons why Hannah and I are no longer a part of reality TV,” DeSorbo said. “It’s one of the scariest things you can ever do in your entire life. And it’s partly why we created ‘Giggly Squad.’”
Why Paige’s Support Carries Weight
DeSorbo, Berner, Miller, and Batula made up the “bed bugs” of “Summer House,” the tight-knit friend group known for retreating early to gossip, snack, and decompress together. Paige left the show ahead of Season 10. The fact that she is now publicly standing with Ciara over Amanda speaks volumes about where those loyalties actually lie.
TMZ reported that “Giggly Squad” recently won Podcast of the Year at the 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards. Their reach extends well beyond the Bravo fanbase, which means Ciara’s support system just got a very large megaphone.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion is expected to film in mid-April. It will be the first time Ciara comes face-to-face with Amanda and West since the news broke. Ciara has not yet made a direct public statement.
