Who Is Ben Favaedi?
Ben Favaedi is 22 years old and one of the later additions to the “Calabasas Confidential” cast — he doesn’t appear until Episode 5, which means he walks into a group that has already been detonating for weeks. He attended Calabasas High School alongside Jemma, Dylan, Emma, and Nicole, giving him roots in the original group even if he spent the summer away until the cameras found him.

Ben Favaedi’s Drama on ‘Calabasas Confidential’
Ben arrives at a rooftop party in Episode 5, introduced through Emma and Dylan, and immediately becomes the most talked-about person in the room. Three women — Emma, Alexie, and Emilie — clock him within minutes. Emma has been looking forward to seeing him; they had a flirty phone call before the party and she plans to pursue it. Alexie has already told Emilie she thinks he is cute. Emilie, for her part, describes him as the hottest man she has seen in a hot minute.
By the end of the night, Ben has walked Emilie to the edge of the rooftop, told her her smile is infectious, and kissed her. In front of Alexie. In front of Emma.
The Emilie connection becomes the season’s final major fault line. Alexie and Emilie’s argument over Ben — two childhood best friends crushing on the same man — becomes one of the season’s most bitter confrontations, ending with Alexie questioning why she ever defended Emilie to the friends who warned her. Ben, caught between them, handles it the way someone handles a situation they didn’t expect to cause: carefully, and a little too late.
By the finale, he and Emilie are on the beach saying they are falling in love with each other, two weeks after meeting at that rooftop. He is leaving for New York in less than a month.
Where Is Ben Favaedi Now?
Ben and Emilie did see each other in New York after filming wrapped, but have since kept things as friends. Both felt that knowing each other for only a month before he left was no basis to start a relationship. He is back in New York, working at Rippling and running Nagual Jewelry. Alexie has since moved to New York to pursue modeling, which puts her and Ben in the same city — a detail the show’s audience has already noticed.
What Does Ben Favaedi Bring to ‘Calabasas Confidential’?
Ben is the show’s wild card — the person who arrives without baggage, with no prior history in the group’s drama, and still manages to crack two friendships in a single evening. He is not a villain and he is not careless. He just walked into a room where the conditions for combustion were already set, and the spark happened to be him. Whether he and Emilie revisit what they had, or whether Alexie’s move to New York changes the geometry of things entirely, is a question the show left wide open.
