Netflix Is Bringing Back the Calabasas Era With New Reality Series Calabasas Confidential — Here’s Everything to Know

Netflix is heading to the trendy enclave of Calabasas, California for its next reality series. 

“Calabasas Confidential” follows a group of lifelong friends, foes, and exes in the Los Angeles County city made famous by the Kardashians. 

According to Netflix’s official synopsis, the series follows a group of Calabasas High School alums who have returned to the sun-soaked, gated hills of the exclusive community after four years apart. Fresh out of college, they are plunged right back into the drama they thought they left behind.

Back in their families’ sprawling hillside mansions, they are forced to reckon not only with who they were but also with who they are becoming — in the town that raised them. New flames, old feuds, and unexpected secrets don’t stay hidden forever behind the gates of LA’s most envied zip code.

All eight episodes of Season 1 drop on Netflix on May 29, 2026. 

The Cast

Season 1 cast includes Alexie Olivo, Ben Favaedi, Dylan Wolf, Emilie Nelson, Emma Medrano, Hercy Miller, Jemma Durrant, Jodie Woods, Kimora Lewis, Nicole Sahebi, Preston Pippen, Raine Michaels, Sterling Retzlaff, and Suede Brooks. 

Jodie Woods

The celebrity connections in this cast are not subtle. Jodie Woods is the sister of Jordyn Woods, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum who famously became part of the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal. That also makes her the sister of Avery Woods, who is simultaneously joining the cast of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County” on Hulu. The Woods family is having a full reality TV moment in 2026.

Preston Pippen

Preston Pippen is the son of basketball legend Scottie Pippen and “Real Housewives of Miami” star Larsa Pippen. He played wide receiver at the University at Albany before graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a business degree and making his on-camera debut on RHOM. Full breakdown here.

Raine Michaels

The cast also includes Raine Michaels, daughter of rock icon Bret Michaels. She made her runway debut at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show in Miami and was a finalist in SI’s 2019 Swim Search. She also holds a sports journalism and broadcasting degree from Belmont University in Nashville — and yes, she has plans beyond modeling. Full breakdown here.

Suede Brooks

Suede Brooks is a Las Vegas-born model and influencer who started a YouTube channel at 12 years old specifically to speak out against bullying. She now has over 1.3 million TikTok followers, 1.6 million Instagram followers, and is represented by United Talent Agency. She built everything herself. Full breakdown here.

Hercy Miller

Hercy Miller is the son of rapper Master P and the younger brother of Romeo Miller — who is also joining the cast of Hulu’s “The Mob” hosted by Parker Posey. Full breakdown here.

The Rest of the Cast

Jemma Durrant is an LA-based influencer and University of Oregon advertising graduate currently working as a marketing coordinator.

Kimora Lewis is a beauty influencer and DJ who attended Loyola Marymount University.

Ben Favaedi attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, works in sales at Rippling in New York City, and is the director of Nagual Jewelry.

Emilie Nelson is an influencer with a journalism and fashion media degree from Southern Methodist University.

Emma Medrano is a content creator and social media manager for Mercedes-Benz.

Netflix is not being subtle about what they are going for here. Jeff Gaspin, head of unscripted at Netflix, told Deadline the show is part of a deliberate strategy to bring “some of that magic back” from classic reality series in the vein of “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills.”

“When someone in their 20s comes to visit Los Angeles, there’s two places they want to go, and it’s not Disneyland or Universal: it’s Calabasas and Erewhon,” Gaspin said. “I’m not a Calabasas native, but I moved here when I moved to L.A. in 2001. It used to be a pumpkin town and everyone would say, ‘Why are you moving all the way out there?’ But then, of course, a certain family moved in and put Calabasas on the map.” 

The series comes from Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios, with exec producers including Brent Montgomery, Courtney White, Gardner Reed, Will Nothacker, Ally Gasparian, Alex Rosenberg, and Bill Dixon.

“Calabasas Confidential” premieres May 29 on Netflix.
