Kyle Cooke, ScAmanda

Kyle Cooke’s DJ Sets Are Speaking for Him During the ScAmanda Fallout

Kyle Cooke has not posted a lengthy statement about ScAmanda. He’s been playing songs instead.

‘Move West to the Left to the Left’

During a DJ set at Carl Radke‘s Soft Bar, Kyle spun an original track by @georgiosays, and the lyric that caught everyone’s attention was “move West to the left to the left.” Instagram account @cici.loves.you posted the clip with the caption: “Kyle, with his little messages through his music choices during his DJ sets makes me giggle. ‘Move west to the left to the left’ stahhpp 💀” The post pulled 3,650 likes in a day, with the video’s own text overlay reading: “Kyle shading West during his set at Soft Bar.”

The comments did not hold back. “Love a petty song,” wrote @Natalie.bell.944 with 279 likes. “He’s so proud of himself, too,” added @lss429. @steenie_weenie put it plainly: “lol that man knew it would be posted all over too 💀.” And @sashajasminne, perhaps most accurately: “Why am I crushing on Kyle these days 😂😂🔥”

The Venue

On April 5, while the internet was still processing the ScAmanda fallout, Kyle was behind the DJ decks at Carl Radke’s Soft Bar — yes, the very business he declined to invest in during “Summer House” Season 10, telling Carl on camera that Loverboy was hemorrhaging money and he had nothing left to give. The irony of that location alone was not lost on anyone.

‘We Found Love’

About a week earlier, Kyle was also spotted playing Rihanna’s “We Found Love” at a separate event. Virtual Reali-Tea, sourcing the clip via Page Six, flagged it with the caption: “While Carl is a mess, Kyle Cooke was spotted last night DJing to Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ amid the bombshell ‘Summer House’ hookup scandal between ex-wife Amanda Batula and West Wilson.” The post pulled 6.8K likes. The top comment, with 685 likes, reads simply: “It’s insane how opposite I feel about him now.”

Kyle has been direct about how he views West since the scandal broke, telling reporter Adam Glyn that he has “a real issue with a dude that manages to use his charm to get whatever he wants.”

He has not commented on the song choices, which may speak for themselves.

“Summer House” Season 10 airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams next day on Peacock.
