Here is the complete breakdown of “Summer House’ ScAmanda, from the beginning.
Meet the Players
According to NBC News, Amanda Batula, 34, has been on “Summer House” since Season 1, originally joining as Kyle Cooke’s girlfriend. She became a fan favorite and eventually creative director of his canned cocktail company, Loverboy. They married in September 2021.
West Wilson, 31, is a sports journalist who joined the show in Season 8, quickly sparking a romance with castmate Ciara Miller. He has since become a fixture of the house.
Ciara Miller, 30, is a registered nurse, model, and host who joined in Season 5. She and Amanda became one of the show’s most beloved friendships.
The Background You Need
West and Ciara dated during Season 8 and after filming wrapped, but their love story ended in December 2023. At the reunion, Ciara said through tears that West told her he could not commit “for snow-related reasons.” She had met his family, stayed with his brother in Chicago, gone to a wedding with him. West later told The New York Times he regretted using the show as an excuse.
Meanwhile, Amanda and Kyle’s marriage was deteriorating in real time on camera throughout Season 10. In January 2026, they announced their separation after four years of marriage.

January 2026: Amanda and Kyle announced their split via joint Instagram statement, calling it a mutual and amicable decision, according to E! News.
February 3: Ciara and Amanda appeared together on WWHL, still presenting as a united front.
February 8: West and Ciara were spotted together at the Super Bowl, sending shippers into overdrive, according to NBC News. Season 10 was actively airing, showing the two flirting and leaving the door seemingly open to a rekindling.
March 5: Deuxmoi reports that West and Amanda were spotted at a New York City event, described as “openly flirty” and allegedly holding hands under the table — with Kyle right there.
March 9: Amanda goes on Jason Tartick’s podcast and says, “I’m not touching any of my cast members. Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
March 24: West appears on WWHL and calls Amanda a “homegirl,” saying “she’s single. I gotta show her the streets a bit.” In the same appearance, he gives a shoutout to his “friend Meija” for the custom horsehair tie he is wearing. More on Meija in a moment.
March 25: Amanda and Ciara are scheduled to co-host an Amazon Live for OLLY vitamins together. They appear separately, with no explanation, according to Reality Blurb.
March 26: Bravo and Cocktails report that someone on the fashion side of Ciara’s team told her they had verbal confirmation that something happened between Amanda and West. Ciara believes it, and starts making changes to her plans with Amanda.
March 31: Amanda and West post identical statements to their Instagram stories, confirming their romance. “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the statement reads. “Our connection grew out of genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
That same evening, Ciara attends the “Your Friends & Neighbors” Season 2 premiere on AppleTV+. When Jon Hamm asks how she is doing, she replies “I’m good. Well, I’ve been better.” She posts the clip with the caption: “If you can’t trust your Friends & Neighbors, who can you trust?”
April 1: Kyle and Amanda are spotted hugging in New York City while walking their dogs. Kyle tells the street journalist Adam Glyn he is “actually really worried about Amanda” and calls West “the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time,” according to TMZ.
Who is Meija Moreno?
This is where the ScAmanda box gets even more Pandora: Page Six reported that West had been in an exclusive relationship with a woman named Meija Moreno since the fall/winter of 2025. She had met his friends and family, and sources say West was still with her as recently as the week before the joint statement dropped.
West had been assuring Meija the Amanda rumors were false. Then, after his WWHL appearance, he called her to admit he had been caught making out with Amanda and that they were about to go public.
Fans who watched that WWHL episode now realize West was wearing Meija’s custom horsehair tie and calling her his “friend” on national television on the same night he was denying everything.
In a TikTok posted April 4, Meija captioned a video: “Would u guys hate me if I milked my public humiliation for some free products?” The post shows a photo of Meija holding the bridge of her nose, with text that reads, “I’m so sorry but I still just can’t get over the fact all my products ran out this week. I was an unwilling participant in a public humiliation ritual, got my period, and had to read a f*cking joint statement.”
Meija and Ciara have since followed each other on Instagram.
How Ciara Found Out
According to TMZ, Ciara obtained a video of Amanda and West together in an intimate setting inside his apartment. Neither of them knew it was being recorded. Amanda texted Ciara the Monday before the joint statement, saying she had never meant to cause her pain and needed time to process her own feelings.
The Cast Reacts
A source close to the cast told PrimeTimer that Amanda and West “kept this very secretive and were openly lying about it.” The mood among the “Summer House” friend group is described as “a lot of hurt, a lot of confusion, and a feeling of betrayal.” The cast is rallying around Ciara and Kyle.
Lindsay Hubbard comments on a Rumble boxing gym post announcing West would be a guest trainer: “Is he the bag?”

No. TMZ confirmed that “Summer House” production has no plans to resume filming to capture the fallout. The reunion, hosted by Andy Cohen, will be the first time this is addressed on camera. It is scheduled to film in mid-April, according to Reality Tea.
Andy Cohen has confirmed that he had no previous knowledge of the romance.
Ciara has not made a direct public statement.
