Weston Richey, Perfect Match

Who Is Weston Richey on ‘Perfect Match’ Season 4? Meet the ‘Love Island’ OG & Wellness Coach

He was in the original Love Island USA villa back in 2019. Six years later, he’s getting another shot.

Weston Richey is one of the longest-tenured reality TV alumni walking into the “Perfect Match” Season 4 villa — not because he has the longest list of appearances, but because his first one happened all the way back in 2019. Here’s everything you need to know.

Who Is Weston Richey?

Weston Richey is a wellness coach and entrepreneur based in Dallas, Texas. Since his “Love Island USA” days, he has built and launched the XV Life Program — a 90-day transformation system focused on body, mind, and purpose.

The program has its own website, a dedicated TikTok presence, and multiple coaching tiers including XV PRO and XV MASTER. His Instagram following sits at 204,000, and his bio reads simply: “Coach. Creator of XV Life Program. Helping people transform their body, mind, and purpose in 90 days.”

The photography career he listed on his “Love Island USA” Season 1 casting profile is not part of his current identity. Seven years of building something real will do that.

The ‘Love Island USA’ Season 1 Chapter

Weston’s Season 1 arc was one of the more eventful romantic journeys of the season. He coupled with Mallory, then Katrina, then Kelsey before finally finding his footing with Emily Salch. The revolving door of connections was not a red flag so much as a sign of someone willing to keep his heart open when things didn’t work out. Weston and Emily finished in fourth place together on day 27. They didn’t stay together after the show.

One detail worth knowing: Yamen Sanders was also in that Season 1 villa. The two men have history going back to 2019, which makes them two of the more genuinely connected cast members heading into “Perfect Match.”

Most of the pre-existing relationships in this season are from shows that filmed in 2024 and 2025. Weston and Yamen go back further than anyone.

Seven Years Is a Long Time

Between “Love Island USA” Season 1 and “Perfect Match” Season 4, Weston largely stayed off the reality TV radar. No “Battle Camp,” no “Temptation Island,” no return to “Love Island.” Instead, he built a coaching business from the ground up — a 90-day program designed to help people become better versions of themselves physically, mentally, and professionally. The XV Life Program is not a side project. It’s his career.

There is something genuinely interesting about a man who spent seven years building a personal transformation program deciding to walk back into a reality TV villa. Either the work he has done on himself since 2019 has made him more ready for this than he was the first time — or “Perfect Match” is about to find out exactly how much he has grown.

Walking into a house full of people whose most recent shows aired in 2024 and 2025, Weston is something of an outlier — the one with the longest gap between his last appearance and this one.

Whether that distance gave him clarity or just made him rusty is something the show will find out.

Why Weston Richey Is One to Watch

Weston Richey went through four couplings in “Love Island USA” Season 1 and finished fourth. The willingness to keep going after things fall apart is either his greatest asset or the reason he has never quite won one of these things. A “Perfect Match” format — where compatibility is tested more deliberately than in a traditional “Love Island” villa — might suit someone with that particular brand of persistence better than the format that first introduced him.

At minimum, he and Yamen already have something to talk about on day one.

“Perfect Match” Season 4 premieres May 13 on Netflix.
