Amanda Batula Breaks Her Silence With an Apology — and Confirms She Will Face the Reunion

Amanda Batula posted to her Instagram Story Thursday morning — her first direct public statement since the ScAmanda fallout began ten days ago. The post, overlaid on a photo of one of her dogs sleeping, was brief, measured, and notable for what it said and what it did not.

“Hi guys, I’ll keep this short and sweet. I’ve obviously been MIA, but I wanted to come back on and say that I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed and hurt, especially those I know personally who I’ve reached out to individually.”

“For the sake of my mental health, I’m going to try to start living life with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I’m not ignoring what’s happened or what’s unfolded.”

“I’ll be at the reunion and will be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly there.”

What Amanda Batula’s Apology Does — and Does Not — Say

The statement is the first time Amanda has acknowledged the fallout directly in her own words. The March 31 joint statement with West Wilson addressed the relationship; this one addresses the damage. The distinction matters.

She apologized broadly to everyone she has “disappointed and hurt” and indicated she has reached out privately to those she knows personally — a line that appears to reference Ciara Miller specifically, though Ciara is not named. She did not elaborate on the timeline, her role in events, or the specifics of what happened. She saved that, pointedly, for the reunion.

The Reunion Confirmation

The closing line carries its own weight. Amanda’s attendance at the reunion had been reported by TMZ sources but never confirmed directly by Amanda herself. Until now. The language she used — “honestly and directly” — signals she intends to do more than deflect.

That puts the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion, filming later this month, in an entirely new frame. Ciara Miller is attending. Lindsay Hubbard is attending and has already volunteered to lead a whiteboard breakdown of West’s behavior. Jesse Solomon has “receipts.” And now Amanda has publicly committed to answering every question.

Stassi Schroeder said it best on her podcast this week: West has to show up or be forgotten. Amanda just showed up.

“Summer House” Season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams on Peacock. The reunion films later this month.
