Amanda Batula Just Landed a Jimmy John’s 4/20 Campaign — Two Weeks After Edie Parker Dropped Her

Summer House” star Amanda Batula, 34, is starring in a new Jimmy John’s 4/20 campaign alongside Kal Penn, Cheech Marin, and Skyler Gisondo to promote the chain’s new “Dream Rotation Menu.” In the digital spot, the four link up for a laid-back session and each call out their go-to order. Jimmy John’s describes it as proof that “no sesh is complete without Jimmy John’s Toasted Sandwiches and munchies in the mix.”

Gisondo’s angle in the ad is simple: he claims a green thumb because ogres are green. Cheech Marin and Kal Penn — better known as Harold from Harold & Kumar’s — round out a lineup that Jimmy John’s clearly assembled with intent.

What Amanda Can Order

Bravo fans can grab Amanda’s favorite menu items as part of the campaign, including a Toasted J.J.B.L.T., BBQ Jimmy Chips, and Cereal n’ Milk Crispy Treat. The Dream Rotation Menu is available on the Jimmy John’s app and website from April 13 through April 26. Jimmy John’s is also rolling out a “Dream Rotation of Deals” daily leading up to 4/20, building toward a BOGO Dream Rotation Meals offer on 4/20 with promo code DREAMROTATION for JJ Rewards members.

The timing here is hard to miss. On March 31 — the same morning Amanda and West Wilson posted their joint relationship statement — cannabis accessories brand Edie Parker dropped her from their campaign, reposting the same image with a new model and the caption: “A lot can change in a day. Same shirt. Same great charity. New model.”

Two weeks later, a different cannabis-adjacent brand is putting her front and center in a national 4/20 campaign. The Jimmy John’s deal marks Amanda’s second weed-focused brand collaboration since her love of cannabis was highlighted during her time on Summer House.

One door closed. Another one opened — with munchies.

The Brand Scoreboard

The sponsor situation around the ScAmanda fallout has been uneven. West Wilson was edited out of a Marriott Bonvoy/NCAA brand campaign after fans flooded the comments with backlash, with the brand quietly removing the video and reposting it without him. Amanda lost Edie Parker. Jimmy John’s, apparently, sees things differently.

“Summer House” Season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams next day on Peacock.
