“Perfect Match” Season 4 ended less than a week ago, and Jimmy Presnell is already making moves that have fans asking the same question all over again.

On Thursday, Jimmy posted to his Instagram Stories from a Cupshe swimwear event during Miami Swim Week — and the person he was there to watch was Ally Lewber. The video shows Ally walking the runway in a striped bikini, tagged with her handle and the Cupshe brand. In the background of the video, you can hear Jimmy cheering her on from the audience.

What the Finale Said

For anyone who needs the recap: Jimmy and Ally had one of the most chaotic arcs of the season. They matched on night one, she kissed Dave Hand on day two, he went on a date with Kassy Castillo and came back saying he would have worked tooth and nail for a second date in the real world, she opened a sliding glass door on his conversation with Sophie Willett and said “love you” through the crack before walking away saying she regretted it. They said “I love you” in bed at the end of Episode 5, and he made it clear they were still open the next morning.

By Episode 7, Jimmy had walked out of the villa entirely — telling Ally he was not going to stand there and compete for someone who wasn’t choosing him. She matched with Hashim Moore. Dave and Sophie won the final compatibility challenge and brought him back. He came back for her. She chose him over Hashim. At the reunion, Hashim revealed they had been more than just kissing while they were open, and Jimmy gave her grace. He said he wouldn’t change anything about their wild ride.

The season ended with Ally calling it a sweet little happy ever after. Then adding: “The wedding is back on.”

What Happened After

The Tudum post-filming update was less tidy. Ally told the outlet that after the show Jimmy came to visit her in Los Angeles, met all her friends, and FaceTimed her every night. But neither of them was ready to fully commit — he had just moved to Miami and was having fun, she wasn’t ready to really date either. She said it was one of those things where they both knew but didn’t want to admit it, and that ultimately he started to move weird and messiness ensued.

Not exactly “the wedding is back on.” But also not a clean ending.

What Miami Says

Which brings us back to Thursday night and a runway in Miami.

Jimmy lives in Miami — the same city where, according to Ally’s Tudum interview, he had just moved after filming and was having fun and not ready to commit. Ally came to his city for a brand event, walked a runway for Cupshe, and Jimmy showed up to watch. Then he posted it to his Stories with her tagged.

That is not the behavior most fans would associate with two people who have completely moved on from each other. That is a man who showed up to her runway show, cheered from the audience, and wanted people to know he was there.

Whether they have a label, whether they are together in any official sense, whether the messiness Ally described in the Tudum interview has fully cleared — none of that is confirmed. What is confirmed is that Jimmy showed up. Again.

For a man who said he wants to be wanted, showing up to someone’s runway show and posting it to forty thousand followers is its own kind of answer.
