“Perfect Match” Season 4 dropped its first five episodes on Netflix on May 13, and before fans could even finish processing everything that happened in the villa, Jimmy Presnell gave them something new to talk about.
The afternoon after the episodes dropped, Jimmy posted a joint Instagram video with Ally Lewber — the two of them sitting together, drinks in hand, set to an alarm sound with the caption “us the second the first batch of Perfect Match episodes drop.” Cute, low-key, and exactly the kind of post that sends fans into a spiral. It worked.
The Comments Said Everything

The comments flooded in immediately. Fans asking if they were still together. Castmates showing up to cheer them on. Nick Pellecchia liked the post. Kayla Richart left a comment saying she was rooting for them and needed the second batch of episodes to drop. Chris Dahlan dropped a laughing emoji. Over 1,100 likes in under an hour.
Then Zachary Reality asked the question everyone was already thinking: “So when is the wedding?”
Jimmy replied: “still planning.”
Someone named melanie_byck immediately asked Zachary to officiate. Zachary replied: “wait omg yes.”
What It Means If You Watched the Show
For anyone who watched the first five episodes, the wedding comment lands differently than it would for a casual observer. Jimmy and Ally spent most of the season being the most chaotic couple in the villa.
She kissed Dave Hand on day two. Jimmy went on a date with Kassy Castillo and came back saying he would have worked tooth and nail for a second date in the real world. And Ally famously opened a sliding glass door mid-conversation between Jimmy and Sophie Willett, said “love you,” and closed it again while walking away saying “I regret that. I regret that a lot.”
How They Got Here
They sorted it out at the end of Episode 5 in one of the season’s most unexpectedly tender moments. Ally told Jimmy she had been freaking out, that she missed him, and that she didn’t want to be open anymore.
He told her he wanted her, of course he did. She sat in his lap and they kissed.
Later that night in bed, Jimmy told her she was his favorite person — and then said “I love you.” She told him to stop, he said fine, and she said “okay, I love you too.”
What It All Points To
The fact that they are posting together the morning the episodes drop, joking about weddings in the comments, and pulling in castmates and fans alike suggests they may have made it through the rest of the season together.
